Hi Ron, Thats a good point, the set-up dimensions for a new block are given in the manual (from memory 79mm) but no wear limit. From the dimension you gave you are a good way below that. I have a 700-6-6 Air Trac tyre fitted and with a new block there is nearly 1 between the top of the tyre and the fuselage. That reduces over time as the block ages. The current block is now about 8 years old and there is still about 3/8 of daylight between tyre and fuselage. If you want to get a better feel for the situation you could lift the tail to put the aircraft in the flying attitude and then measure the ground clearance between the propeller/ground. > On 19 Mar 2025, at 07:33, Europa-List Digest Server <europa-list@matronics.com> wrote: > * > > ================================================= > Online Versions of Today's List Digest Archive > ================================================= > > Today's complete Europa-List Digest can also be found in either of the > two Web Links listed below. Pete, Per the manual the 3.1 distance between the plates is set prior to installing the assembly in the aircraft. Erich Trombley N28ET Classic Mono 914
