The weather forecast looks good for this weekend, so I think our Fly-in
will take place this Saturday, June 30th as planned (but check the web
site and the weather before you leave just in case).
Bush is on the move, so there is a TFR (Temporary Flight Restrictions)
which will be in effect this weekend because he will be in Maine on the
day of our event ... But, at present, there is no effect on our event
(other than to anyone who plans to fly near Kennebunkport). If you do,
check the TFR at http://tfr.faa.gov/save_pages/detail_7_6080.html (On
the other hand if you don't check, it might be interesting to see the
fighters that follow you in. It could add a new dimension to our fly-in.)
Remember that PICs of RV's and Canards eat breakfast and lunch for free,
the event is free, and there will be 12 interesting seminars as well as
interesting aircraft. Check out our web site for the schedule and all
the details.
