Hi Bob,
Welcome to the world of Falco.
Haven't seen you on the Sequoia website - time to send Alfred a few photos
and some background on yourself - or maybe post them here!
When I started out a few years ago I had no idea of the help and support
that was available from complete strangers from all walks of life, and many
of them have now become good friends.
As an example of the diversity of occupations, one of them doesn't even have
a REAL job - he flies an A340 for Air New Zealand - but he did build a
Falco, so I guess one has to make allowances.
I look forward to keeping in touch.
Cheers,
Rob

Hi Bob.. Nice to have you aboard. Hopefully others will join up to make
it all worth the effort.
Looking forward to hearing of your progress. There aren't many people on
the site yet but those that are, are a wealth of information, help and
fun. You get the occasional one who doesn't know what a hard working job
is when he sees it but they are all great guys... The Falco is a
magnificent machine and building it is an achievement of a lifetime but
without the people it would be nothing.
Welcome.
George

Hey Bob, welcome aboard! It's nice to get some strength in the local
area. Especially since even those damned south pacific "colonies" have
more flying falcos than we have! Stay on board (with the project and
this list), and share the word.

All Falco people (that I have in my e-mail directory) .....Matt Dralle
has started up a list exchange on his site
http://www.matronics.com/emaillists/ dedicated to Falcos. For those
that don't know Matt, he's been the source point for years for free (by
donation) e-mail exchange forums for a variety of aircraft types. I
think the RV guys made it famous, and it has become a very potent
information sharing tool by aircraft type.
He added Falco's just around Christmas. It seems that word has spread
in "the colonies", since the Aussies, Kiwis and Canadians have all come
on board. Problem is we're all too damned polite, and we need some more
argumentative nations (though none shall be mentioned by name...) to get
vigorous discussions going.
See what you think! I've sent this message blind to preserve the
privacy of those who may not wish to participate, and cc'd the list.
Hope the new year finds you well, and flying or building to your hearts
content.
Mike
