What a day.
      
      What a day my birthday was !!
      It was the airshow day of our National Sport Aircraft Association's  annual
      fly-in.. NZ's Equivalent of Oshkosh even if on a smaller scale.
      It started out with Tom Poberezny and the Director of NZ Civil Aviation
      Authority getting their photo taken in front of my plane.. The weather was
      perfect with a great airshow.
      The evening was our annual dinner where I found out that I had won the Air
      New Zealand Trophy which is the Grand Champion for the whole event. What a
      buzz.
      All kind of strange seeing the plaque which comes with the trophy.. it has
      my birthday printed on it and it is in the name of my Employer... Weird!
