I adjusted my hydraulic pump to about 1500 # to insure the gear came up in
flight. Also, the higher pressure gives you some cushion in regards to the
pressure necessary to operate the hydraulic sequence valves which I believe
is in the area of 1100#.. After 170 hrs, I have not had any problems, and do
not find it necessary to drop my speed on gear retraction on takeoff. I
have a hydraulic pressure gauge on my panel which is really helpful.

Does anyone know of a good source to find the recommended amperage rating
for circuit breakers for various aircraft systems?
