Guys,

Larry E. and myself were talking yesterday and the subject of insurance 
available for your FEWs came up. Recently there have been a number of Lancair 
accidents, and I have been told that the insurance industry has been tough on that

group before and now getting even tougher. Just wondering what the "flying" 
members of the FEW builders group are doing for insurance and what the rest of

you are planning in this area.

Avemco cancelled my project insurance, saying they did not plan to cover
the finished product. EAA insurance responded that they were not
covering FEW or any other auto-powered planes.

Ken,

Any indication for either group on what it would take for them to "warm up" 
to guys like us flying auto-powered kits?
