      Spent 6 years in the (US) Army flying AH-1 Cobras,  14 years in the 
      National
      Guard flying UH-1 =93Hueys=94 and recently check out in UH-60

      He is building a Lancair 4P , and seem very capable and efficient .
      
      
      I have pics of the original FEW log system , but I would not copy that .
      
      It is among other things too restrictive .
      
      There isn=B4t a lot of room , but I think it should be possible to have 
      curved
      pipes comming off the head into a small diameter pipe if the pipe sits 
      flush
      with the opening in the aluminum part of the cowling vith .
      
      Then you can have 6 smaller pipes at an angle from the log if you like . 
      
      
      So you are rotary wing driver ?
      
      Have a few years in those too .

      I have a ZZ4 engine and the exhaust ports are not evenly spaced for open
      stack headers.  Does anyone have info, drawings or sketches on the log 
      style
