Has anyone done this?
Seems to me it would make a nice platform for photos?

Thanks Steve, but there in lies the problem, I am not sure what the best
pressure would be. My most unscientific experiment with the bathroom scale
suggests somewhere around 35-40lbs, but that could be way off.
I will send you the old one, just email me a mailing address, and I'll see
if I can get a more accurate approximation of the required pressure.

Shona...
Send me your canopy gas shocks and I'll recharge them for you... What
pressure would you like...
Best... Steve

Subject: Glasair-List: canopy gas shock
I have recently purchased a Glasair I and I have been trying to find a
replacement for my canopy gas strut. Does anyone have any information about
where a person can obtain one, or where I would get the specifications, so
that I can try to get one built? I have emailed the Glasair people twice,
and have had no reply, so I am assuming that they do not sell them. Any
help would be appreciated. I am in Canada.
Thanks;
Shona
