Has anyone re installed an engine with twenty to thirty horse power more
than the previous engine and have they noticed any increase in cruise speed. In

other words, if a 180 hp where replaced with a 215 hp engine would it be worth

       the money and effort.

There used to be a Airspeed calculator on the web somewhere that you
      could
use to predict your airspeed change with different HP values. I did it
      for
my engine (low comp 270 to normal comp 300HP) and the airspeed change
      for
the extra 30 HP was 7-10 KTS.
