Subject: Re: High Oil temp/Glasair 2S 200hp
Saw unusually high oil temps and decided to take a look. I disconnected the
out let side of my oil cooler and blew air into the inlet hose and a piece of
vinyl about 3/4 inches long by 1/2 inch wide and 1/16 thick popped out of
the out let side of the oil cooler. Since it was in the outlet side, I have no
idea how it got in side the oil cooler. The hoses are around eleven years old
and haven't hardened.
