I purchased my kit in 1989 and I purchased a over hauled 200 hp Lyc when
they were selling for far less than 180 hp's. Therefore I was able to
assemble my 2S FT for $60,000. Therefore that is my hull coverage

I was paying $1700 per year for $55k hull coverage, zero deductible
full coverage on a 150hp Glasair 1 FT through NationAir.

Mine has been holding steady at $1439 for Super 2S-FT with $70,000 all risk
and hull coverage through a local insurance broker. My deductible is $100
either in or not in motion.

Hmmm, for some unknown reason the list stripped my last post. Anyway, my
insurance cost the last two years has been holding at $1439 with a $100
deductible. This is through a local agency here in Memphis. The coverage
is for a Super 2S FT with 180 Lycoming and is $70,000.

I'ts Clay-land Aviation insurance. The phone is 901-767-3600. They may
have an 800 number so Google them and check. Talk to Marsha. You could
tell her I gave you her name although it's no gaurantee that it will
get you a better deal but it's worth a shot. Let us know how you made
out.
