Subject: push rods
I just read an AD for a sail plane with aluminum push rods that was
manufactured with out drain holes and water has collected and caused corrosion
that might lead to push rod failure and lost of control. I don't recall
Stoddard Hamilton requiring drilling of drain holes in any of their push rods.
Has any builder noticed corrosion problems?
