Would love to see the drawing if you are willing to share? My f irst question on watching the poor video was this the strake causi ng this? My understanding is that the strake was added because of the docil e stall characteristics. It appeared much different than the rest of the wi ng and now wondering if I should attempt to put them on different chord len gths. As long as both wings are the samethoughts?=0A=C2-=0ABob =0A=C2-=0A=C2-=0A=C2-=0A=C2-=0AFrom:owner-glasair-list-server@matro nics.com [mailto:owner-glasair-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of jhb4 78=0ASent: Saturday, September 21, 2013 6:48 PM=0ATo: glasair-list@matronic s.com=0ASubject: Re: Glasair-List: Vortex Generators=0A=C2-=0AI have a dr awing from Harry Riblett showing drooped strakes at the root to fix that si tuation.=0AUnsure if anyone has tried it yet.=0AJohn Bolding=0A=C2-=0AI h ave a buddy that has installed VG's on 3 different airplanes, all with good /VERY good results but he found placement was pretty critical.=0A=C2-=0AF rom:Bob Granley =0ATo: glasair-list@matronics.com =0A Sent: Saturday, September 21, 2013 8:22 PM=0ASubject: RE: Glasair-List: Vor tex Generators=0A=C2-=0AEvening Dick,=0A=C2-=0AI bought a Glasair 1 TD early model with low hours. I have put some yarn on the wing at in tervals. Unfortunately poorly filmed so I need to do it again. What seemed odd and I am not drawing conclusions here yet as I did not get the audio wi th it to give perspective, but it appeared that the wing root to 3=99 =C2-was stalling long before the rest of the wing.=0A=C2-=0AJust looki ng for some owners experienceor suggestions.
