Hello all, I have finally hooked up with a group of very good fiberglass mentors and we are getting close to finishing the large rudder for my early model tail dragger. In the original builders manuals I cannot find any info on the internal counter weight as far as weight and arm length etc. Was there an update to the manual that included this info and described in more detail how the large rudder was to be constructed? We are at the stage where we need to figure out counterbalance weights and could use a bit more info to get this right. Is the method essentially the same as for the small rudder? Thanks so much! Bob Granley

Thanks John. Think we are more concerned right now with the weight of the internal (fusel age) counterweight that I can't seem to find that in the manuals. =46rom th at we should be able to determine how much we have to put in rudder. Looking for the diagrams as well.
