I have the Becker. Neat, but not worth the trouble. The weight creates G force limits, as well as mods to the wing to accommodate. I got my subaru-powered Pelican flying Nov 03 and have 20 hours on it with no problems. Figured I may as well use this down time to clean it up. I just pulled the cowling, wheelpants and fairings so I can bring them home and paint them in my heated garage. I have a homemade PC engine monitor that I'm trying to finish too, at least I can work on that indoors. I'll be hoping to fly up north a lot so I'd like to keep in touch with you NH guys. What are some of the good fly-ins that I should schedule? Well, you should be flying south to warmer weather, but I did receive the following message recently: ----- This is a reminder to please mark your calendar for Saturday, April 24th! The Federal Aviation Administration, Boston ARTCC, The National Air Traffic Controllers Association, and Daniel Webster College - will host the 5th annual New England Aviation Expo at Daniel Webster College on Saturday, April 24, 2004. We're once again building an informative, one-day conference that covers all of the areas of concern for general aviation pilots. The variety of in-depth topics makes this a "must-attend" event for our eager audience of aviation enthusiasts - over 300 general aviation pilots from all around New England. You can preview what is being planned by visiting the Expo website at www2.faa.gov/region/ane/expo. Exhibitor opportunites will be available! The week of January 26th exhibitor registration packets will be emailed to those exhibitors who participated in 2003. If you have any suggestions of additional organizations or businesses that would like an invitation please forward their contact information to me at your convenience! ----- -Dj -- Dj Merrill Thayer School of Engineering ThUG Sr. Unix Systems Administrator 8000 Cummings Hall deej@thayer.dartmouth.edu - N1JOV Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH 03755 "On the side of the software box, in the 'System Requirements' section, it said 'Requires Windows 95 or better'. So I installed Linux." -Anonymous ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 02:31:00 PM PST US From: "Archie" Subject: Re: Homebuilt-List: Homebuilt list? --> Homebuilt-List message posted by: "Archie" > I'll be hoping to fly up north a lot so I'd like to keep in touch with you > NH guys.
