Wittman Tailwind W-10.Many examples with 0-360 well over 200 mph max.speed.This is a tube and fabric airframe with plywood covered wings.Plans available from ACS.0-200 power 160 mph max speed range. And that is the whole point condensed to that message.........he should con sider several designs, find a couple that he likes the best, then consider those in a medium, or construction technique, that he is comfortable or exp erienced in............unless, he wants to learn a whole new method. That is what homebuilding is all about, learning. Its all fun, most find the bu ilding just as much fun as the actual flying.=0AAll good points.........=0A =0ASid=0A--------------------------=0A=0AIt's going back a few years, but t he original Hawker Hurricane was a 300mph tube and fabric airplane :)=0A=0A If there is a must-read for the first time buider, Ron Wantajja's book is a strong candidate. The only problem might be that by the time you're done reading it, you may not only be considering pro/con tube and fabric vs alum inum, but composite and even wood too.=0A=0A=0A=0A=0ARead this topic online here:=0A=0Ahttp://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=67270#67270=0A=0A =0A=0A
