guessing you have a low draw short somewhere........try disconnecting a bat tery lead (positive) over night and see if that saves the battery charge, i f so, then you need to work your way out the systems to find the shorting w ire/part.=C2- IMO =C2-=C2- On Tuesday, July 5, 2016 11:44 PM, Charlie England <ceengland7@gmail.co m> wrote: m> On 7/5/2016 10:26 PM, Dennis Wright wrote: .com> > > Trying to figure out if I have an issue with my electrical system in my s onex or just bad luck. Between charges it is probably discharging and sulfating....needs to be kept at full charge all the time, with a trickle charger....once it gets a real low charge level, damage is done. > -----Original Message----- > From: homebuilt-list@matronics.com > Sent: Wed, 6 Jul 2016 00:03:15 -0700 > To: homebuilt-list-digest@matronics.com > Subject: Homebuilt-List Digest: 2 Msgs - 07/05/16 > > * > > ================================================= > Online Versions of Today's List Digest Archive > ================================================= > > Today's complete Homebuilt-List Digest can also be found in either of the > two Web Links listed below. I think you need to look at the alternator. 13.5 volts is too little to charge a 13.2 volt system (6 * 2.2 volts per cell). Recommend 14+ volts charging.
