There doesn't seem to be any provision for changes to the J-2X/4X airframes that allow addition of a ballistic parachute, but I'm not certian that the possibility is entirely ruled out. Does anyone know if that has been done successfully - or have any indication from the folks at Jabiru that they would support such an option?

Hi Jim, We've been working on that, but first we need Jabiru approval. One of our clients (from Aerolez=EDria) asked us about BRS for his J230. I'll try to k eep in touch and hope to give you good news soon. Since I knew there would need to be hard mount points added and runs or grooves for the bridles somewhere along the outer surface of the airframe I expected Jabiru would have to be intimately involved in such an effort.
