Hi Geoff,
I was getting terrible interference in an Icom A200 radio (&intercom) in my Jabiru
LSA-55, which increased with engine revs. It turned out that I had anchored
a relay (which had been left "floating" behind the panel on it's wires) to the
firewall with velcro. The vibration through the firewall was causing wires
in the relay to vibrate and interfere with the radio/intercom. I un-tethered the
relay, wrapped it in foam and all was fine. I guess you may not have such a
relay, but worth a check.
