Subject: | Re: 2200 engine running question |
I just started test flying an X-Air with a 2200 engine the engine starts
great idles super but when I really give it a lot of throttle and put the plane
in a steep climb it hitches on regular intervals for a while then it will
run fine until I start climbing steep or make a steep turn what should I look
for to cure this problem ?
as long as I don't jab the throttle or make aggressive maneuvers it runs
great

Does it "hitch" with a constant throttle setting ?
ie, without moving the throttle and just pulling back the stick does it
hitch?

Could be worth checking the float level also, could be on the low side

Does it "hitch" with a constant throttle setting ?
ie, without moving the throttle and just pulling back the stick does it
hitch?

Subject: Re: JabiruEngine-List: 2200 engine running question
I just started test flying an X-Air with a 2200 engine the engine starts
great idles super but when I really give it a lot of throttle and put
the plane in a steep climb it hitches on regular intervals for a while
then it will run fine until I start climbing steep or make a steep turn
what should I look for to cure this problem ?
as long as I don't jab the throttle or make aggressive maneuvers it
runs great
