Hi All,
Been monitoring this forum for some time, but I'm now putting the final touches
to my 2200A X-Air H and I need your advice. I'm installing a Grand Rapids EIS
monitor for the 2200 and the Jab manual says to place the EGT probes 100mm from
the exhaust manifold plate. Has anyone else installed this EIS and what distance
did they use for the EGT probes?
Many thanks in advance for your time.
Ian

I use an EIS, and just like the instructions called for, I installed
my EGT probes at 100 mm from the head-to-exhaust pipe interface. I
also used a short stack of washers...about 1/8" worth...to better
center the tip of the probe within the pipe.
