Its a bit of a long job as the tube diameter is small but nothing to unscrew and no mess at all Pat ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 03:53:04 AM PST US From: Lynn Matteson Subject: Re: JabiruEngine-List: SAF-AIR Oil Drain Sump Valve It seems to me that you wouldn't be getting all the *possible* junk that might be laying at the bottom of the pan that way...just a thought. This way it will drain easier, quicker and hopefully stir up some of the stuff on the bottom of the pan. The filter should get the rest? Change the oil, drive around the block a few times to get the new oil warm and through the system, then drain and change again. His justification was, "oil is cheaper than engines". Of course that was in the days of 50 cent a quart oil. Still......:-) Rick Girard On Sun, Oct 11, 2009 at 10:08 AM, pj.ladd wrote: > > > > ..just a thought.>> > Hi, > it had ocurred to me but I suppose there could be `bits` which don`t flow > out through the drain hole either. From: "Benjamin Q" When I attended the engine conference, it was mentioned that some radios just don't work well with the jabiru. I can't remember exactly what caused the interference. I am about a month away from needing to make a hard decision on which radio to use in my Zenith 701 and for a lot of reasons I am really interested in the MGL V10. I do remember someone saying that the Garmin radios seem to work well with the Jabiru, but I hate to be boxed into only having once choice. What is everybodies' experiance with radios and the Jabiru engine? Can anyone vouch for certian brands or models? Also, does anyone know if there are corrective measures that can be made to take care of the interference? Any advise would be appreciated.
