popping noises can occur due to the AC dynamo regulator. If that is the source, it will not be present if the AC leads are disconnected. Another clue is that this type of noise will change in nature during the charging of the battery. It is not troublesome if the installation is wired according to the advice in the Jabiru manual. Simply put this means the regulator + wires connect direct to battery + , regulator ground connect directly to batt ground, all avionics ground to common stud on firewall, headset sockets are not in contact with airframe (unless they are on the same metal panel as the intercom/radio) and the battery capacity is one of 20 amp-hours or greater. Can anyone tell me the range for the oil temp and oil pressure sensors on the jab 3300. oil pressure oil temperature o psi= ? ohms any deg f = ? ohms 20 psi= ? ohms any deg f = ? ohms The specific numbers aren't important just 2 numbers each to get a line. I read that vdo has a 200 ohm spread but need top and bottom numbers. A place to find these numbers would be nice for various engines.
