Thom, >From a business owners perspective, good customer service conducive with customer retention might best be provided by sourcing such components from alternative suppliers and then on selling them to your customer, even at a slightly premium price, most customers would be appreciative of that service. In any case, my first reply was sent in jest and not intended to be taken too seriously, hence the :-) Global Recession? We must have missed that down here :-) oops there I go again. Greg, There are different schools of thought on how to run a business. One of them says that helping your customer regardless of whether you make a sale today is a good investment in long term relationship that will in time make you much more profitable. The other is to rape your customers while you can. Long-term vs short-term thinking. The short-term mentality is one of the root causes of the current global recession. Based on my limited dealings with Jabiru USA thus far, I'm pretty sure that Pete Krotje is in this business for the long-term with a long-term mentality. -------- Thom Riddle Buffalo, NY Kolb Slingshot SS-021 Jabiru 2200A #1574 Tennessee Prop 64x31 We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to public office. - Aesop Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=275709#275709
