If it survives, it says something about the strength of the engine which was never designed for this. -------- Mark Hubelbank N708HU CH601XL Jabiru 3300 Rotec TBI 40 carb Sensenich ground adj prop. 41 hr TAF Pictures at photo.hubbles.com Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=277886#277886 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 09:45:22 AM PST US From: Lynn Matteson Subject: Re: JabiruEngine-List: Re: Turbo 2200 I'll second that statement, Mark.....I'd sure like to see it hold up, but my head tells me it won't. Just wondering how you modified the Bing to give a proper fuel rate for the increased air density from the turbo? Also did you need to increase the seat pressure of the valve springs to compensate for the exhaust and boost pressures ? I know that in high boost situations this is something that must be compensated for, I do not know how close the factory specs are for spring pressures. I have a Garrett VNT turbo that might be a good match for the engine size and RPM's we have with the 2200A.
