Hi Guys; A question: After reading JABIRU's web site I noticed that they "REQUIRE" 95 or 100 LL octane. Yet, on I believe Zodiac's site they say 93 Auto Gas "MoGas" is acceptable. So, are there any REAL WORLD answers to this? I am not interested in hearing about what JABIRU recommends or what the warranty states; just real running running engines histories. I ask this question because I'm looking to build or buy a LSA and cost is always an issue. Barry

Hi Barry Jabiru says they want premium autou fuel or 100LL, but the compression is only about 8.0 to one. I fly with 100LL because it's handy at the airports but I"m certain you'd be ok with 93 octain fuel. 95 octane RON equals 91 octane the way it is labeled on pumps in the USA. There are many posts in the archives addressing octane measuring systems. Barry I have been using mogas and avgas since July 05 in my Jab 3300. No problems. Recommend 92/93 (U. S. Octane) without the "Al Gore" additive.
