      Hi Don,
      
      I have a 2200 on my Kolb Mark 3 Extra micolight.  I do not run the 
      engine dry and have never had any trouble. The exception was when I went 
      to NZ last year and I knew the plane would be unused for at least a 
      couple of months. No special priming on start up after that. Just half a 
      dozen blades pull through before switching on (which is my usual 
      practice anyhow) and away she went.. No prob.
      I would expect more trouble from old petrol than from carb. trouble.
