This was surprising to me to say the least. I later found that the throttle was not moving all the way open because I rotated the carb far enought that the arm was getting stopped by the distributor cap. Moral to the story is that after EVERY change of somehting... no matter how small, operation of all components must be checked and double checked. Non issue in this case, but never take for granted that a small "tweak" or change could have unintended consequences. All I did was rotate the carb a few degrees. -------- Zodiac 601 HD Jabiru 3300 Wood Sensinich 64x47 Finally Flying Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=339447#339447 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 10:45:57 AM PST US From: Don Honabach Subject: RE: JabiruEngine-List: Re: Question Thanks for posting -- this was on my backburner to try (my temps are good, but I wanted to see if I could get to them to be better by 'balancing the carb').
