Remember you can change the main jet in the Bing to adjust the fuel. I wish I could remember the main jet size I am now using, but don't have my engine log book with me at the time. We also changed Linda's some time ago. Give Nick or Pete a call and find out what main jet they recommend with the Lightning. I'll be in SYI next week and will mention it to them. Jabirus fundamentally run rich compared to most other engine designs. If you are using 100% avgas you might use TCP or another lead scavenging additive. They do help a lot and also reduce build up on valves. Once I reduce power then they climb with the back being high.
