I now have only w ater in the catch bottle.I'll try to find a picture of it and send it to yo u on the list. G.Aman MK3C jabiru 2200A 800hrs .. A 360 Deg circle. Again with the flexible hose install a PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) Valve as HIGH as possible in the tube above the height of the engine and m ake sure the check valve points down in the closed position. If you have say a 5/8" hose for the breather tube - Reduce it near the end tio half the size. You can use a step type fitting. Face the Breather Hose INTO the oncoming wind. And of course you can use any combination of this ideas. The engine doesn't burn any oil but I get a lot of blow by o n each flight from the crankcase breather tube. I'm sure with the engine e xposed the airflow over the vent is causing a vacuum and sucks it out. The vent reservoir doesn't trap the oil. Any one have a way to allow the cran kcase to breath with out loosing a lot of oil? It looks like a beauty and I need to dial up the rpm's a bit to get within the Jab specs. I posted a while ago about static rpm's being 2500 at most. I have to push it to see 3000 in flight. I've been cruising the neighborhood at 4gpm at 2400 rpm. This is with the sensenich 64X47.
