I have read that others have had a problem with their sender.  You can get a replacement
at an auto store.  It a quick change out.  A number of builders have
mounted the sender on the firewall.  This seems to help as the engine vibrations
cause the sender to fail.

That is valid for the oil pressure sender, not for the oil temperature 
sender.
