I noticed the fuel pressure had dropped from 1.8 ~ 2.1 to 1.4 plus or minus. I have my low pressure alarm set at 1.8 so I kept getting an alarm unless I kept the electric boost pump on. The engine has not been run since the first of December 2014. Question: Should I be concerned about the 1/2 lb. pressure drop or is it a case of TMI ( too much information ). I know of at least two guys that do not even have a fuel pressure gauge. Anyone have any idea how long the engine driven fuel pump is good for. It has 236 hours on it but it is at least 8 years old. By the way I noticed my maximum RPM on take off went from 2600 to 2720 just before rotation speed. I attribute that to the new Rotek E-mag and the newer Honda ignition coil.
