Richard,
Make sure your wire splices do not protrude below the diameter of the coils in
the Jabiru permanent magnet alt.
The coils are barely outside the diameter of the button head screws but if your
soldered joints go inside that circle even if they are not sticking out beyond
the coils they still may hit the tops of the button head screws.

Does anyone know of of a situation where the tachometer output of the Rotec E-Mag
( Square wave ) is hooked to a Dynon EMS?
I can not get the amplitude of the signal from Rotec and Dynon says it must be
12 v and not more than 50.
