FYI
Upon removing my cowl, in order to change oil, I found blue fuel stain
below the mechanical fuel pump.
I turned on the elect. boost pump a found fuel leaking out of the
mechanical pump at the diaphragm (gasket) behind the mixture lever. I
found the diaphragm to be hard and cracked. Cont. part no. 2095, I
think.
I plan on replacing the gasket to confirm that was the source of the
leak.
The engine was new in 95 and has 370 hrs. I would think it would last
longer!
