What a BEAUTIFUL airplane. The swept tail, winglets with the white paint an
d the stripes really stand out making it look great. I know the winglets do
n't do much/anything for performance but they do look good. Everywhere I go
people flock to my airplane comenting about the paint and the winglets.-
Probably a marketing ploy? You need to bring it to Sun-n-Fun so I can see i
t up close and personal.

Experimental aviation here is pretty big with a lot of local LSA type being
designed and built and one high wing four place that I saw.- here their
experimental catagory is very simular to the states but most planes are bui
lt by builder assist companies.- They have several that are relativly big
and also set up booths at the show.- The EAD show is a four day event wi
th the first days for just businesses and then the normal population.- Th
e show was held on the field where Embrear manufactures some of their bugge
r planes so the participated also. They flew their EMB 195 and several othe
rs including the Phenom 100 and 300 There was quite a turnout.- They had
airshows Sat. & Sunday.

Right now we are staying with the 180 to 210 hp engines.=C2- There are se
veral to choose from from Lycoming and Continental.=C2-Our plans is to=C2
-make mounts for both as testing goes starting with the Lycoming which ha
s both the 180 hp 360cu inch and the 210 hp 390 cu inch.=C2- Maybe in the
future we will try larger engines.

What a BEAUTIFUL airplane. The swept tail, winglets with the whit
e paint and the stripes really stand out making it look great. I know the w
inglets don't do much/anything for performance but they do look good. Every
where I go people flock to my airplane comenting about the paint and the wi
nglets. Probably a marketing ploy? You need to bring it to Sun-n-Fun so I c
an see it up close and personal.

second with the old guy is with wing attached. Right now the winglets are
not in the plan prefering a more shark type wing tip.
There are a few differences in this plane from the cruis
er. The obvious is thae all new fuselage. We have made it a little longer
The horizontal stab is also bigger. The wing will be a single piece spar
and is moved forward along with the firewall. There is more room behind t
he engine also. We are ready to start producing the outer parts but still
working n the rib and spar molds.

I had the original tube gear because the spring gear wo
uld not clear the oil screen housing on my 0235 so I stuck with the tube ge
ar with some of my own mods and it made it this long.

If you have the original tube gear without shock it seems it was heat treat
ed to a rockwell 70. the later spring/shock gears were not heat treated.
The airfoil tube gear had stiffners added to the sides but again not heated

just a short note. This last week I spent
at the EAD show in Brasil where the company I work for Introduced their new
plane called the Volare. The plane was a mock up but we are working on th
e molds and will start producing parts soon. Its a fourplace that is a big
departure from the KiS Cruiser. Larger and more aerodynamic looking. Whe
n somebody uploads a picture on my computer I will send it along. It genera
ted a lot of interest.
Experimental aviation here is pretty big wi
th a lot of local LSA type being designed and built and one high wing four
place that I saw. here their experimental catagory is very simular to the
states but most planes are built by builder assist companies. They have se
veral that are relativly big and also set up booths at the show. The EAD s
how is a four day event with the first days for just businesses and then th
e normal population. The show was held on the field where Embrear manufact
ures some of their bugger planes so the participated also. They flew their
EMB 195 and several others including the Phenom 100 and 300 There was quite
a turnout. They had airshows Sat. & Sunday.
