Hello Tim, You wrote:
1) "I re measured my axle to station 32 and it is 41.75".
I have entered 41.75 inches in the appropriate place in the attached latest
version of the spread sheet.
2) "Do you think other input would be helpful."
I am open to suggestions -- maybe basic empty weight CG location -- I've
added mine. But actual CG location at the time of a maneuver would be of
more value.
3) "Maybe the static weight of each wheel?"
I don't see how. If we are trying to evaluate the "rotatability factor" on
takeoff or the "nose tire touch down factor" on landing then the exact
location of the airplane's CG at that moment would seem to be of more value
for comparison purposes. But pitch trim setting and piloting technique would
seem to be major and difficult to quantify factors in such a comparison.
4) "Do you or Mark think I would benefit by moving main gear forward?"
Only if your "rotatability factor" or "nose tire touch down factor" are
really annoying you. Wedging the main landing gear forward on a completed
airplane would be a fairly significant modification under taking.
5) "Thanks for your efforts."
You are welcome.
