    Bob, Is that Texas heat holding you up? In Fl my garage gets so hot at times, after 20 minutes I have to quit and jump in the pool.     The gas struts that came with my kit, in 93, were not strong enough. I think they are Supra rated at 25#, I refilled them in a Nitrogen cylinder and it boosted them to 35/40#'s and they have held up for several years.
