Subject: | Re: fuel flapper door |
Hi Rich,
Hope the operation goes or went well.
It does not sound like a fuel flapper door problem if the engine coughs righ
t when you kick in some rudder. The is enough fuel in the lines to run the e
ngine for a few minutes. Maybe a problem with the air intake? What kind of
engine is it?

ad a problem here. Sticking or not working well? I just made a major mod to
my slosh tank because the engine kept burping when turning and kicking the r
udder to force the fuel out board. Only one wing. The first fix was to unst
ick the door after some flocks got on it during assembly. This did not repa
ir the problem. So inded up making a tube with a flapperdoor closer to the i
nboard rib. This worked and have 1 gallon unusable fuel in that tank. We n
ever retested the other wing. Just added the mod but I really don=C2=B4t li
ke it. Cost to much.
