I contacted Lyle Hendricks to see if he made the original hinges. I sent him
a detailed drawing with dimensions and photos of my broken hinge. He will
check and see if he has the setup needed to make a production run. If not,
he can still do it but at a higher cost. He also said that the bigger the
production run the lower the individual cost will be and that the minimum
run is 8 units. He estimates that for 8 units the cost will be about $40.00
for each hinge. He also said he can have them made up in about 2weeks.
If you want new hinges let me know so I can try to convince him to make a
production run and maybe get a lower price per hinge.
