Building up the outside of the fuselage sounds a little extreme. I think
what I'll do is build up a portion of the "roll bar"
structure on the inside ceiling and fill it with flox mixture from a hole
drilled in the outside skin. then it would be solid enough to take a bolt
through the "roll bar" from front to back and not penetrate to the outside.
By the way, I decided on a non retractable 1 piece lap/shoulder belt
anchored at 3 points like most cars are equipped.
I was thinking of a retractable belt but read that they have to be mounted
on the vertical and wont work roof mounted.
I'll send pics when finished.
Thanks,
Al
