Hopefully next year. [?] PS, I have 92 galon capacity in my airplane and have flown with it at max gross (2500) a few times. It climbs a little slower but still at around 900-1000ft/min in a "normal" day. Galin On Thu, Jul 5, 2012 at 10:40 AM, Scott Stearns wrote: > > Anyone flying into Oshkosh? It is about 9 hours and 75 gallons from Camarillo, near los angeles, no wind, going direct. The most I have taken off with half full mains which is about 10 gallons a side and 25 gallons a side in the rear tanks which makes 70 gallons. I was doing aft CG testing. My girlfriend is going with me which limits us to about 3 hour legs. Maybe someday i can talk her into using the lady J. Scott On Jul 5, 2012, at 11:17 AM, "F. I am probably going to bui ld a 4 place with a 540 and I want as much fuel as possible in the wing. I a m thinking 150 gallons with a fully wet wing and the aileron bellcrank in th e wingtip.
