I now have a Kuntzleman LED Beacon, AVEO Powerburst LED Nav/Position/Strobe, EPL LED Tail Light/Strobe and the AVEO SunLight LED Landing/Recognition lights. I even have a Home Depot LED Cabin light for inside the cockpit. The hardest part was finding the right lights and designing/making brackets so I wouldn't have to modify the airframe. With these LEDs my total current draw for all lights is just over 5Amps. The old Halogen Landing/Recognition lights alone pulled 18Amps. It's like getting a bigger alternator. You can see the lights on our web page: http://puertoricoflyer.com/led_lights_upgrade.html ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 06:24:16 PM PST US From: Galin Hernandez Subject: Re: KIS-List: LED Lights I also posted a video of the lights turned on in broad daylight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2Den_xrmvg On Sun, Jul 22, 2012 at 7:40 PM, Galin Hernandez wrote: > With the installation of AERO LED Landing/Recognition lights, I finally > completed upgrading all my external lights to LEDs.
