The VG's are located on the underside of the horizontal stab. 4" ahead of the elevator hinge line, spaced 2.5" apart. They go the full width on each side. See photos. 2. The wing VG's are located on the top side, 10" back from a vertical line on the leading edge, starting about 20" outboard of the fuselage. This gives me space to get in and out of the cabin. I think I will add 2 or 3 near the fuselage for the fillet area. These are also spaced 2.5" apart. See photos. These are not scientifically placed but located in accordance to some information I found on the Internet which goes like this. With the plane in a level position, lay a straight edge level, front to rear, across the wing and where it breaks from the surface on the rear, measure 4" ahead of this point and put the leading edge of the VG's there. This is the method I used. Where the trailing edge of the straight edge seperates from the surface is the leading edge where the air begins to burble. The vortex needs to be started before this point and someone has come up with the 4" ahead of this point. This might not be true on all airfoils but I know it works here. Another way is to tuft the wing and find where the burble point begins. I think the 4" is an obituary point so who knows. Do I have the most optimum point, I really don't know but it works. If someone thinks they finds a better way to do this let me know. Jesse ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 09:12:59 PM PST US From: "F.
