That should narrow your search down a bit. OC ==================== Yes there is a part number (733699) but nobody can seem to cross reference the part number on the shock. They want a make model year of a car in order to find it. What shock are you using in your nose-wheel? ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 06:05:00 AM PST US Subject: Re: KIS-List: Nose wheel assembly damage. From: ALFRED ROSA Galin, How did you like the performance of the shock you had? Could it have been softer or harder? Now's your chance to adjust to your liking. Using OC's information about the shock absorber being from a Ford Falcon, a very tenacious O'Reilley's auto parts employee found it. It is a Monroe-matic Plus 31069 shock absorber. You will have to cut the top cover off in order make it fit inside the assembly but otherwise it is a perfect fit. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/MON6/31069.oap?year=1967&make=Ford&model=Mustang&vi=1332302&ck=Search_C0077_MON_1332302_-1&mn=Monroe&mc=MON&pt=C0077&ppt=C0035 Keep this information handy in case you need a replacement. :0) On Thu, Apr 4, 2013 at 8:04 AM, ALFRED ROSA wrote: > Galin, > > How did you like the performance of the shock you had?
