The person who has the hangar next to mine has offered me a
lot of carbon fiber he is going to throw away. They are about 4ft wide
by 20ft long rolls. It looks like he has about 8-10 rolls.
I hate to see all this material get thrown away but it is much
more than I can ever use. If you want some, let me know and we can
arrange the shipping.

Subject: | Re: KIS For Sale on Barnstormers |
I thought I would revive this thread to let everyone know (the 20 or so of you
that frequent the forum) what happened to this airplane...well Minnesota has one
less KIS, and Pennsylvania has one more KIS. This past weekend I made the long
trip to pick up the McCormick TR-1C. She has a new home at my house, and the
family is very excited we have a KIS back after Rich had both of his stolen
from him.
She needs a lot of work, a past owner wasn't very nice to her, but thanks to her
most recent owner Kevin, she was saved from the junk yard and I can't thank
him enough for that.
Attached are a couple of pics - one as I rolled up to the house after the 20 hour
nonstop ride from Minnesota, the other is me, sister Carol (already screaming
to get out), and brother Eric in the pilots seat.
In the paperwork was yet another lead on a TR-1 - Roland MacDonald from Southern
Pines, NC It was sold and the paperwork is incomplete but it is a flying KIS,
N94MK.
