Galin,
Thank you for documenting the TR-4 nose gear with such detailed precision. I do
not think the springs came from McMaster.com, I did a quick check there and they
do not have a die spring listed with these dimensions. I will try looking
elsewhere.

I can't find the message, but someone wanted to see a picture of my
elevator bob weight.
You can also see how I reduced the mechanical advantage of the stick
over the elevator by lowering the attach point of the forward control
tube.
This is TR-1.

Hi Graham,=0A-=0AI think-the bob weight was a good thing.--The bob
wieght significantly improved the ride in turbulence since when you hit a p
ositive G bump the bob weight will-add down elevator force.-- The fac
tory set up will actually add up elevator force in a positive G bump due to
the moments-the weight of the control tubes-add to the control tube at
tach points.-=0A-=0AThe bob wieght also adds stick for per G.- So if
it takes 10 pounds of stick force to pull 2 Gs, it will take maybe 15 pound
s so force to pull 2 Gs with the bob weight.-- It makes the airplane fe
el more solid.- =0A-=0AScott=0A =0A=0A________________________________
