Robert, I've talked to Ted today and we are thinking on removing the engine from the airframe to reduce the weight and the loads on the fuselage. We will try to make a frame similar to the one on the picture that Mark have uploaded. Mark, I know Zizo and have seen the KIS Cruiser that is in Bauru. I fly sailplanes there. It's about 1 hour and a half from where I live. I've tried to buy that airplane but could not get enough money. It is very beautiful and pretty close to the first flight, although Zizo has not been working on it for a long time. I've talked to your brother by email some months before he passed away and even got his phone number to schedule a visit, but i was not able to get there before I got the sad news...... I don't know anything about the KIS TR-1 that is in Brazil. Mike and Galin, Any picture that you can get of the airplane in the container will help me a lot. Again, thanks to everybody and I hope to be in the KIS Cruiser Builders list and later on the KIS Cruiser Pilots list. Best regards, Fabricio -------- Fabricio Pereira Engineer / Pilot Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=406732#406732 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 07:16:04 PM PST US From: Galin Hernandez Subject: Re: KIS-List: Re: KIS Cruiser Crating My airplane was packaged and put in the container by Mike Monroe (Jacksonville, FL) but I can't find a good contact number for him. If anyone has a good number for Mike please post it since he has experience in moving KIS4.
