Hi Guys It's been a long time since I looked at the Kis list. For those that don't know I lost my wife Annie to kidney cancer last September. She made IFR flying possible for me. Now that she is gone I have replaced 3 of my 6 pack instruments with a Garmin G3X along with the G28 servos ( pitch & roll ). With this system coupled to my Garmin 430 wass I can once again fly IFR. The system is fantastic. It can fly a fully coupled approach and also fly the missed approach and hold. It is just starting to warm up here in Minnesota so much flying is in order. I do fly in the winter but it needs to be 20 deg. or more to enjoy it. Bob Anderson Cruiser N949Y

Sorry to hear about your wife. The new avionics is just amazing. I wish the airliner I fly had near the di splay the 3X has. It is so nice to fly cross country with an autopilot. Have fun.... Bob=0A=0AReally sorry to hear about Annie. Bev and I can only-guess how m uch you miss her.=0A=0AIf you haven't been following the Kis list, you may not have heard that I decided at age 80 that it was about time to stop flyi ng and so sold my KIS Cruiser to Galin Hernandez. He seems to be really enj oying-the plane and has made some-very nice improvements including a- very high tech glass cockpit.=0A=0AWe have heard from our Minnesota relativ es about the brutal winter you have had. Like our fellow snow birds, we hav e heard that the snow is melting and so are about to migrate back home from Sarasota in a-few days.=0A=0ADave Tate=0AOn Saturday, March 29, 2014 7:1 0 PM, Robert Anderson <kcruiser1947@yahoo.com> wrote:=0A =0AHi Guys=0AIt's been a long time since I looked at the Kis list.=0AFor those that don't kn ow I lost my wife Annie to kidney cancer last September. I will be there all week and will have half of L-45 to display my Suzuki engine conversions. L-45 is in the light aircraft area if anyone would like to stop by. Sorry no KIS stuff or even Volato but maybe at Oshkosh... Mark 772 240 2266 -----Original Message----- From: Galin Hernandez Sent: Mar 22, 2014 8:43 PM Subject: Re: KIS-List: Sun-N-Fun 2014 Good. It looks like Mark Trickel will also be there on Saturday so we need to do a KIS get together. I might not be able to fly my airplane there since the engine started running rough today to the point I aborted the flight and returned home. My A&P and I will be looking into it during the week. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N819PR :( On Sat, Mar 22, 2014 at 11:49 AM, Alfred Rosa <fredorosa@gmail.com> wrote: If you're going to be there I'll come on Saturday but if not, let me know so I wont go.
