I use PLEXUS for my windshield. You may have to do it more than once over a few days if the sticky gunk is real thick. Otherwise 2000 grit sandpaper may be needed but that is in an extreme situation. http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/cspages/plexus.php On Mon, Mar 31, 2014 at 9:52 PM, Mike Pienaar <mjpienaar@shaw.ca> wrote: > > I have years worth of gunk from masking tape and electrical insulation > tape that is stuck to my windows. > > Any hints on how I can clean them?? > > Thanks > > Mike > >

Test some Goo-B-Gone on it and check the label for compatible use. I have used it on many occasions with great results. Use very soft cloth and liberal application. Soap and water to Wash off residue.
