Galin, Roberto, my partner on the KIS TR-4 project, will be at Sun-N-Fun this year with his wife and other Brazilian friend. He will probably contact you. Are you planning to fly your Cruiser to there? Best, Fabricio -------- Fabricio Pereira Engineer / Pilot Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=439503#439503

OK, will do. The airplanes I have seen that were vinyl wrapped looked very good but they cautioned me to make sure the company has experience wrapping an airplane not just a car. Some of them use propane torches instead of heat guns during the install and this can be a big problem, especially on a fiberglass airplane. Another thing is any imperfection in the fiberglass will be seen through the vinyl so the surface must be almost perfect. They told me those micro holes are not a bit issue but otherwise the surface should be almost ready to paint. Here is a link to a Vans Air Force thread covering aircraft wraps: http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showthread.php?t=118703&highlight=aircraft+wrap Have you checked with a local corvette shop for hints on painting fiberglass? Corvettes are known for being difficult to paint since they are 99% fiberglass. Good luck. I understand they begin to deteriorate in 7 to 10 years. You probably want to keep the plane in a hangar for protection. _____ From: owner-kis-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-kis-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Galin Hernandez Sent: Wednesday, March 18, 2015 7:41 AM Subject: Re: KIS-List: Sun-N-Fun 2015 OK, will do. My kit arrived in 1996 and included was Neoprene hose, Aircraft spruce part number 05-00400. I unpacked this yesterday and the hose has gone completely brittle and shatters very easily, I suggest that you check if you have used it anywhere. Keep well Mike
